Yesterday i got home from cutting the lawn and went in my room to gather clothes to take a shower. And all of a sudden as i reached for my clothes i felt a sharp pain in my chest , the kind of pain you feel after you go running and inhale real deep. So i ignored it thinking it would pass, but it didn t. Before long, within 10 mins, i couldn t breath deeply without an even worse pain going down my chest and into my left arm. The pain eventually made its way up the left side of my neck. I couldn t walk with all the pain so i curled up into the corner of the couch for an hour and eventually took a st joseph baby aspirin . An hour after that it felt well enough to where i was able to walk and breath again. Then right after i went outside to watch the fireworks and the further i walked, the worse the pain. I woke up this morning feeling better but the pain is still present with enough physical movement. I m 130 lbs, 20 lbs under weight, i eat healthy, and im a male. I wanted to go to the hospital last nite but my parents thought i was having a panic attack. This feeling was of pain, not of nerves , i know the difference and im still hurting when i inhale deep enough (it hurts like a burning pain in my neck, left side). Could it be a muscle related to the lungs or heart problems? I was told that you don t have nerves or feeling in your heart. My second guess would be fluid in my chest? Anyways, im going to the doctors monday to request an ekg but i wanted to know if anyone had any ideas of what it is before then?
