Cat's Rear Nails Scratched, Swelling. Cleaned With Peroxide. Antibiotics Needed?

I got a few punctures from my cat's rear nails at the vet this morning. I cleaned it with peroxidie and changed the band aids and reapplied peroxide. The punctures, three, Are about an inch and half from my wrist but the swelling has gone up to my nuckeles. I have been working with it all day with gloves on.
How do I know if I need anti-biotics. Also no medical insurance. Thanks
