Cause For A Child To Have Pain The Tailbone When Sitting?

My 11 year old has tailbone pain sometimes when she sits. It has been three months. On a pain scale from 1 to 10 10 being severe , it is 2 or 3. She is not sure if she fell few months ago. An X-ray did not show anything. Please advise what can be done

just give the child a ice pack in that area when ever the child complains of pain. mild paracetamol for pain should suffice . in case it persists needs to be checked again
