Cause For Change In DNA Test Results?
Hi, my daughter delivered her son on Jan 3, 2014, she is A- Rh- factor, son is positive factor, the father of the child wanted paternity testing done, the dna testing came back excluding him as father Could the rh factor disease cause a false negative result ?

The paternity testing is the type of DNA profiling with the help of PCR or RFLP.
This study done at genetic level.There are no evidence present regarding affection of paternity testing by rh factor.
So Rh factor usually not lead to false negative result according to me.
You have not mentioned blood group of father.According to father and mother group , group of child can be determined.
