Hi,
If you are regular with your pills, you need not worry about pregnancy. The cause of the short periods could possibly be due to some hormonal imbalance as often happens during pill intake; sometimes weight changes during pill usage can cause such disturbances. Yet, in view of your symptoms, I would ask you to see a specialist and get evaluated properly along with blood counts, urinalysis and a sonogram-pelvic/trans-vaginal. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
