Cause For Severe Pain In The Neck?

I have been having severe neck pain every since last Wednesday mostly on the left side of neck. on Wednesday it started with a headache then ached like inside of my head. now I continuously having neck pains on both sides of neck On blood pressure med and was cut down a month ago because it was like 118/75 110/60 s now it s 157/95 135/85 what can be going on? should I contact my doctor?

Hi,

The location and movement of a pain gives clues as to what is going on. Normal BP's range over 90 to 140 over most anything up to 90 for the bottom number. Depends a lot on other factors as to whether the BP is an issue and pain isn't one of them. One sided matters a lot where on the head in the back is a nerve or a muscle if it is one whole side of head--hemicranium--that is a term used for migraine headache.
