General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Bleeding per-rectum and having enlarging bumps that are sore and uncomfortable can be due to the following reasons:
Fissure-in-ano with infection causing either inflamed sentinel piles or small abscess.
Can be prolapsing but entrapped piles/hemorrhoids.
Tis can be diagnosed by the following:
Per-rectal examination and ano-proctoscopy if the pain allows.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get a consultation with a General Surgeon.
Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
Laxatives to keep the stools soft.
Anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen.
Avoid the foods and beverages that cause constipation.
ANtibiotic cover if there is infection.
Surgery if there are prolapsing piles or have chronic fissure with secondary symptoms/findings.
