Cause For The Headache, Sinus And Sore Throat?
Hi there, about 9 days ago I was diagnosed with a sinus infection, but the problems started occuring 2 weeks ago today. My doctor gave me auro cefuroxime i beleive it is called, I have one more day left on the anti biotics it took the head aches away and sinus pain, but starting yesterday I developed a really bad sore throat, I looked down my throat today and noticed white spots, I have really bad post nasal drip as well, but it is really hard to cough it up. What do you think it is?

Hi, you are suffering from sinusitis and your symptoms are because of that. Post nasal drip is also a symptom of sinusitis and throat infection because of post nasal drip is a known problem. Whitish areas in throat can also be because of antibiotic induced fungal infection or ulceration because of antibiotic induced disruption of microbes in the oral cavity and gut. Please use mucolytics and nasal decongestant drops, a probiotic along with steam inhalation. Regards
