a week and a half ago i really bumped my knee (i had a replacement in it about 1997) it just hurt for a little while and i didn t even look at it and have been able to walk but the bruising is going down my leg down past my ankle. there is a lump on my knee but doesn t hurt so much. i have been keeping it elevated and taking four anti biotics a day.
Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that you have a hit to the knee,at the area of the blood vessel. Due to oozing of the blood it along with the secretions of the surrounding tissues, there is the edema and which is settled to the dependent part of the leg. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically along with other medicines like antibiotics, serratiopeptidase, and diclophenac sodium. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
