Cause Of Uncontrollable Leg Shaking During Physical Therapy?
I have physical therapy for low back and shoulder issues, my therapist works on my hip and tightness in my thigh. Today while she was working on my leg, I was lying down with that leg bent, it started shaking uncontrollably. This continued the whole time until my leg was straightened. I ve had this feeling before but never this dramatic! What could cause this?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The uncontrollable leg shaking can be due to a nerve root stimulation or irritation during the therapy. You can also take some methylcobalamin supplements and see if they help. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
