Chance Of Getting Pregnant While Taking Duoluton? Had Unprotected Sex
Dear Sir,
My wife is taking Duoluton-L tablet since 3 months and this is her last month to complete the full course of 21 days in each month. She got her period in time at each month. She has yet to take this pill for 5 more days.
I need to know that while she is doing this course, is there any chance of her of getting pregnant in these 21 days?
She had her periods before 20 days and we had unsafe sex today and I wonder if she will get pregnant. I want to prevent her from pregnancy so if Duoluton-L tablet can not prevent her from pregnancy than is it safe to give her I-Pill or any other same kind of tablets?

Your wife is taking oral contraceptive pills regularly then she is protected and almost there is no chance of pregnancy.
In women using these pills correctly and regularly pregnancy rate is only .3% year.
In case there is delay in taking the tablet or she forgot to take pills for few days then risk is certainly more and she should take emergency contraceptive within time frame 48 to 72 hours.
