Chest Pain, Back Pain, Coughing Phlegm, Fever, Blocked Nose

hi i have a viral infection , i have been to the doctors ,he gave me a syrup which i have finished .my cough has lasted over 2 weeks ,i keep coughing up flem regulary and have got chest pains and back pain from this .I have also used a water bottle to relieve the pain please help .I have the other symptoms too such as fever ,chills,body ache ,blocked nose ,head ache .these have all gone except the coughing up of flem and chest pain.

I have gone through your query regarding your cough and chest pain. As you said that you wee having fever , blocked nose and cough with sputum and chest pain.
You have already consulted doctor and taken medication by which you got relief in fever, body ache, but still you have chest pain and cough.
I would like to advice you these two basic investigations-
(1) x-Ray chest P.A. View
(2) Culture and sensitivity of sputum.
You should take antibiotic according to culture and sensitivity report for a week if your problem solves than it is fine but on the other hand cough persist than seek for specialist care.
