Chicken Pox Scars On Skin. Applied Turmeric On Face, Skin Peeling, White Patch On Face. Remedy?

I was affected by chicken pox last month and the scars were there on the skin.. so i applied turmeric on face. Once unknowingly i rubbed my face hardly which has peeled my skin on the normal area.. Later it has become white and looks like a patch on face.. Will my skin grow back.. Wats the remedy? I wanna get rid of tat..

Hi..Thanks for your query.
i think you were a bit too early in trying to apply agents to lighten your scars. Just after the chicken pox,skin is usually sensitive and hence any procedure might make it worse.
i would advise you to use a medicated sunscreen to prevent any darkening of the existing scars.You can use mild lightening agent like kojic acid containing creams twice daily on darker spots.As for the peeled patch,it is best to leave that alone till the melanocytes in the area regenerate the lost pigment .it might take 3-4 weeks for the same.But there is nothing to worry about.
