Child. Making Weird Faces Like Gagging, Locking Sound While Swallowing, Drooling, Turning Blue Around Lips And Nostrils. Help
My 8 week old seems to be making faces as if she is gagging, but nothing comes up. She makes weird faces as if she is chewing.
Our concerns started around 2 or 3 weeks when she would swallow which would come with a locking sound, it always came in 4's. she still struggles to swallow, especially when she is lying on her back. She drools a lot.
She also turns blue around her lips, and around her nostrils, it's very faint...more like a tint!

I can understand your concern. Usually a 8 week old baby does not drool. If she drools and turns blue as you mention it is advised that you consult your doctor who shall examine the pharynx of your daughter and also look for the gag reflex. If required further examination by an ENT doctor may be warranted to rule out any anomaly of the pharynx or oesophagus.
