Child. Tickling, Tingling, Uncomfortableness In Private Area, Irritable, Sweating With Sweaty Palm. No UTI. Suggestions?

My seven year old is constantly complaining of tickling and tingle feeling , uncomfortableness in her private area . I have her checked for urinary tract infections and it always comes back normal . She's alway so very uncomfortable like she is irritable all the time. She flexes her calves , sweats, has sweaty palms I'm at a loss I made a appointment with a pediatric urinologist but hasn't seen her yet please any suggestion of what it might be?

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

You are doing the right thing by getting your daughter examined. Since she does not have urinary infection the doctor will examine and look for signs of any fungal infection which can be troubling your child. The other remote possibility can be that your daughter is deriving some pleasure by tickling the place which should be considered after all possible causes have been excluded.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter all the best.
