Child Born With Wpw But Cleared. Heart Beating Fast And Face Turning Blue Can Be Due To Wpw?

4 year old child was born with wpw and was cleared at about 1.5 years old. No problems since. Lately he has had several times (at least once a day) that he says his heart is beating too fast and then he turns blue in the face. Could this be the wpw and should we be concerned. Sometimes he just turns blue in face without saying his chest hurts or his heart is beating too fast. These episodes don't last long, maybe a few minutes or so. Thank you

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the patent ductus arteriosus, means a hole, in the inter arterial septum, that is expected to be closed by the time he is delivered.
Usually the blue baby syndrome is diagnised in the early life it self. It appears that the hole is very small, and on the way to close by it self.
Still it is advesible to consult a cardiologist to enquire and have assurance about its closure. If it is not to be closed by it self, it is to be operated.
Give him more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to have a good health.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
