Child Complaining Of Dizziness, Headache, Seeing Purple And Blue. Blood Work Shows Monocytes Elevated

My 12 year old daughter has been complaining of dizziness, headache, seeing purple and blue, and feeling strange, like things are not real. She also said she has times where she doesn't remember why she walked into a room. Symptoms started abruptly 4 weeks ago. She has also been sleeping more than usual. She has no previous serious illnesses and is bright. cheerful, and athletic. Dr. ordered blood work and ct. Monocytes were elevated. Glucose normal, thyroid normal,CT normal. The prominent continuing symptom is the strange feeling like things are not real. It is a daily complaint. Any ideas?

If the investigative reports are unremarkable then there could be some functional elements, this age particularly in female is more pron for functional elements, child tries to draw the attention toward him/her self if being neglected or if want to discus something for which hesitation is there, have word with her make her realize that it is okay if discus any thing, she is in need of parent support and moral support too pay attention, it will be fine soon have nice day.
