Child Complains Of Forehead Pain, Fever, Tummy Pain, Excessive Sleepiness, Taking Antibiotics For Ear Infection. Help?

my 5 year old daughter , forehead hurts, fever ,tummy hurts,not eating,falling asleep during day,a child that never wants to sleep,never complains of hurting has been check,twice but ever thing is fine,then a slight ear infection now on antiboties ,this has been going on for a week been also to ER middle of night screaming with pain,any ideal,other wise health and very active,and eats well,does not eat junk foods or drinks

Hi,
Thanks for contacting HCM
I had gone through your query and I guess your daughter have acute otitis media .
For this I personally advised to avoid
Water in the ear
Oil In the ear
Ear bud in the ear
And recommend to
Hot fomentation around the ear
Proper antibiotic course
Antipyretics
and nasal decongestant
and investigate for
Complete blood count, TLC, DLC
after consulting with your specialist.

Hi,
She is having ear infection causing all these complains.
As antibiotic is going on, gradually its effect will start and she will get relief from all symptoms.
