Child Delivered With Vacuum Extraction Often Getting Infected Spot On Head. Can It Affect Brain?

12 years ago a child was born and the dr used a device that he screwed into her scalp to help deliver her, the mother at the time had an out break of herpes. Now the child every so often gets an infected spot on her head where the device was used during child birth. Is she in danger of this ever affecting her brain? She has a place broken out now on her head and the lipoids in her neck are very sore. Is this something she will have to deal with the rest of her life?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
This may not be the out come of what ever happened during the pregnancy, it is almost 12 years gone and what ever happening to the child is not because of the procedure or device used,, what ever problem if the child is facing that has to be treating separately, moreover it is very unlikely applying a screw device,, have nice day.
