Child Diagnosed With Epilepsy. Taking Epival Syrup. How Long To Continue?

hi.my name is nazia.my daughter is 4years old.when she was 1 year.she got fits.doctors dignose epilipcy.she has taken epival for 2 and half year.doctors stoped surup.but after 8 months she again suffered with fits.she is now taking epival again.i request to know how many years she taks this syrup.she also has milestone also.what should i do for her normal life.thanks

As far as epilepsy is concerned, most of the patients require life long treatment with anti-epileptic drugs, unless the epileptogenic focus is removed surgically or there is indication from your prescribing doctor to stop the drug !!
