Child Diagnosed With Hives Due To Cold Virus. Red Circle Welts On Palms, Sole Of Feet. Cure?
My 14mo old son was diagnosed witb hives a couple of weeks ago as a result of a cold virus. Ifirst noticed red welts under the skin of his palms and soles of feet. They were ccircles. Then they appeared symmetrically on his thighs and over his belly button. They went away after a week. But I just noticed that circles appeared again today on the soles of his feet. He is not currently sick. Opinions?

hives is not a serious condition.
even if there is recurrence it will pass of in due course
you may use a antihistaminic like hydroxazine hydrochloride and
calamine local application

hives are generally due to some allergic reaction.you will have to search the cause of it.it may be any new food or any new environental cause or using of new detergant to wash the clothes of baby.no tests for this can be done at present as your baby is small for allergy test.give some antiinflammatory medicnes to your baby and remove the substance which is causing allergy to your baby from his vicinity.
