Child Diagnosed With Sand In Ear, Do Not Stay Near Sand, Does Not Have Dizziness, Headaches Or Hearing Loss. What Can Cause This?
Hi, My daughter (9y.o) went to the pediatrician about 2 weeks ago for an asthma check-up and the doctor commented on sand in her ear. We were surprised to hear this, since we were nowhere near sand recently. Now when she s been cleaning her ears, we ve noticed a few white, crystal-like granuals on the Q-tip. She has no symptoms, no dizziness , headaches, hearing problems, or stuffy/runny nose and no head/ear trauma. What can cause this? What other conditions could this be a symptom of?
