Child Done Urinalysis. Is There A Problem With The Report?

Good evening,my daughter whose 3 years old had a urinalysis result as below, please give me advise if there is any problem to be consulted: Routine: Color: YELLOW
Transparency: Sl.turbid
Specific gravity: 1.025
PH: 5.5 Microscopic: WBC: 10-12/HPF
RBC: 2-11/HPF
Epithelial cells:moderate
Amorphous Urates: many
Mucous threads ; many
blood positive
albumin positive

Hi,

With the complete urine examination of your child, she is suffering from urinary tract infection.

It requires antibiotic treatment to clear the infection from urinary tract.

Before starting antibiotic, urine should be given for another test called urine for culture and sensitivity and it will useful to know the type of bacteria and its response to specific antibiotics.

And give plenty of water and oral fluids to maintain a good urinary stream.

Consult your Pediatrician for examination, investigations and for the prescription of medication.

As per urine examination your daughter is having urinary tract infection for which she needs a course of antibiotic.

I also suggest to get urine culture and sensitivity.

Give plenty of fluids.

Get your child examined by pediatrician for proper management.
