Child Fell On The Rock, Got Fitted With Goalie Pads, Now Has Sore, Hot And Swollen Shin. Bone Bruised Or Fracture?

My 10 yr old had a scootering accident and landed on A rock. A few days later he was being fitted for goalie pads and the guy says to him to go down and up a number of times to test them. One day later his shin is swollen, sore to touch, and hot. Is the bone bruised or is it a fracture? He has 5 days off and then he s back on the ice.

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. As it is we can't predict, whether it is bruised or a fracture. Clinically the process is weight and see with necessory drugs on for controle of pain and swelling for 2or 3 days. then is pain and swelling persists, we go for xray and other tests. So i advise you to to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
Besides i advise some diet recomendations for him as give more of green leafy vegetables , pulses, sprouts, milk, egg, meat, dry fruits, fruits and juices to build blood, and resistance to such infections. Wishing for a fast recovery and thanks for calling.
