Child Getting Treated For Leukemia And Sick With RSV. Very Weak And Crying In Pain
My 4 yr old grandson is being treated for leukemia and was also very sick with rsv. This has all happened the last 2 weeks. He is now at home and is very weak but seems to hurt in alot of places, twisted his foot a bit when it was under him and cried in pain. Is this normal?
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. I am sorry for your grandson's condition. Now a days leukaemia is very much treatable. Do not worry. Usually in leukaemia and during its treatment, there will be lowering of immunity. RSV can lead to pulmonary complications and need for oxygen can develop. But hopefully he has recovered well. If he is weak, kindly seek medical help based on is primary diagnosis. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
