Child Had A Sore, Red, Achy Feet. Cannot Stand Working For Long. Worse After Rest, Sleep. Saw Rheumatologist. Not Helping. Suggestions?

Yes, my son has had sore, achy, red feet on and off for the past few years. He is to the point now that he can't work as standing for more than an hour magnifies the symptoms. Resting them does help, they often get worse after resting or sleeping. He has seen a rheumatologist over the past 3 years and all the meds she has given him are for circulation and have not helped at all. Hi oldest and youngest brother have chrohns and his other brother suffers from severe migraines since he was 6 and he is now 21.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
your description suggests JRA
if NSAIDS and steroids do not help you may try methotrexate with the advice of your rheumotologist
usully it takes along time to get relief
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Take care
