Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.
Presence of ketones in urine is suggestive of starvation or metabolic problems like diabetes mellitus.
I suggest you to consult the pediatrician for examination and investigations.
Urine for sugar, blood sugar, serum electrolytes to be checked and ultrasound abdomen and pelvis has to be done to look for the cause of pain abdomen.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
