His doctor has done blood work and unrine over the past 3 weeksbut the tests are coming up as A-OK. They did say his white blood cell count is high. Have any of you ever come across this before?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
What is about Platelet count of the child? Usually spontaneous bruising occurs in conditions with low platelet count or in conditions with vitamin C geficiency calles Scurvy. And one possibility is Henoch Sconlein Purpura where petechiae will occur on legs with swellings. So consult your Pediatrician for the examination and proper work up.
