Child Has Cut On Arm After Fall. Need For Doctor?

My 8 year old son just fell from a tree and has a minor cut on his arm that may have been caused by a rusty metal object below the tree. We're not sure what cut him, but we need to err on the side of safety. He is up to date on his immunizations. We have cleaned out the cut. Do we need to take him to the doctor tonight?

Hi,
If cut is small and there is no pain or infection, you need not go to ER.
But inspite of having full immunization, tetanus toxoid injection has to be given.
So consult your doctor and go for shot.
Ok and take care.
