Child Has Diarrhea. He Is Teething. His Stools Are Dark Green. Lab Results Include Rbc, Hpf. Suggestions?
Hi, my baby is 11 months old and has had diarrhea in the week that passed and he has pooped 2xtoday. He is teething, and is breastfed. He has fever for 4 days now but is being taken well care of... His stools are dark green, and his stool lab results include: rbc 0-2 hpf; pus cells 4-7 hpf; bacteria plenty; consistency mucoid; and no ova or parasites seen. He is also having painful coughs and colds... Please tell me what you think...

as the examination show there are acteria
you should start with metronidazole dd according to weight
cAN GIVE CPM SYP ACCORDING TO WEIGHT AND DOSE SHEDULE WHICH WILL TAKE CARE OF COUGH AND COLD
YOU CAN GIVE FOR 3-5 DAYS AS REQUIRED
