Child Has Fever. Given Crocin. Should Medication Be Given When There Is No Fever?
Hi Doctor, my son is 5 y 11 months old, he has been having fewer since yesterday, now when i checked at 02:30 AM India time it showed me a reading of 96.6 and i know it is normal, my question is actually we had given him 10 ml of Crocin at 10:30 PM India time and i am suppose to check for his fewer 4 hour once and since the fewer is not there now, should i still give him the dosage or we shouldn t give him, we always get confused ? His weight will be approximately 16 to 17 Kg.

Crocin (Paracetamol) is a SOS medicine, it is given only if required. There is no course / minimum duration of treatment for it. It is to be given only when there is fever.
Don't give the medicine when he doesn't have fever.
