Child Has Fever And Headache. Threw Up Mucus. Gave Tylenol. Diagnosed As Stomach Bug. Suggestions?

My 4 yr old son had a fever of 102.3 and he was complaining of a headache. He threw up water/mucus in a matter of 10 min apart. Gave him Tylenol fever dropped to 98.8, took him to the doctor and he said he was feeling better. Dr suspects he has the s"stomach bug" I disagree with her. On the way home he was complaining he was cold. He was shaking and had goosebumps all over his body. He said his head was hurting again. Fever is back up to 101.

Hi,
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
Do not panic.
It might be a stomach bug (viral).
Give him some rest and give tylenol every 4 hours if he has fever.
If he pukes or complains of stomach ache give him some antiemetics and antispasmodics with some antiacid medications.
Give him home made nutritious food.
Hope this answers your query.
If you have any other queries kindly direct them to me.
Wishing a speedy recovery.
Have a nice day.
