Child Has Fever, Green Stools, Grumbling Stomach. Help
Hello My name is Reetu and my son is 6 months (he'll be complete 6 months tmrw 3rd of march) He is having mild fever since last 3 days and pasing green motion since last 7 to 8 days (probably since i started formula milk for him). With fever he is not at all active, his tummy is grumbling, he just wants to lie down and crys when lifted. We went to the doctor yesterday and he said nothing and wrote so many text, blood test, stool test and all. The reports will take sometime to come. I cannot control my emotions, seeing my little one in such pain makes me cry. Can some one please tell me what has happened. I will be going to another doctor again today in the evening... Please help
Your child looks having gastroenteritis due to a virus or a bacteria.
And there may be body pains as the child is irritable on lifting.
For fever you can give paracetamol drops in prescribed dose.
Give sips of oral rehydration solutions like Pedialyte to maintain hydration.
And I advise you to consult the Pediatrician with the reports as he will see the reports and may modify the treatment depending on the reports and child re examination.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
