Child Has Foul Green Tinged Semi Formed Stools With Stomach Pain And High Fever

Concerned rue two year old with foul green tinged semi formed stool. Child has fever up to 102. C/0 tummy hurt. Sometimes acts like mouth is sore. Nothing seen. Eating and drinking but not well. Stools are very foul. Been going on for a couple of days. However no stool yesterday but three today so far.

Above symptoms indicate gastrointestinal tract infection of bacterial origin.She needs to be seen by doctor. She requires antibiotic to cover this infection. Plus symptomatic treatment for stomach pain and pre pro biotic. Ensure good hydration and good nutrition. Fever will decrease in 2 says time. These infection are common during this season. Give rice based food,apple, pomegranate, banana and lots of fluid.
