Child Has Frequent Cold, Cough, Fever. Prescribed Cofvector, Montair, Fexy. Are Medicines Okay?

My son age 7 yrs weight 16.88/kg..frequently suffers from cold , cough and fever ...doctor said he is having allergic doctor recommended the medicines like; cofvector ls,montair lc kid syrup,fexy suspension,Avamys nasal spray and nikomox syrup.so I just want to ask you Sir,are this medicines ok to cure the problem my son is having..Please do inform thankyou very much..

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

The medicines being given are not to cure the condition but to control the allergic reaction.

Some children do get frequent attacks of upper respiratory infection even at this age of 7 years which can be a normal part of their developing their resistance. I would advise you to discuss the issue with your doctor before labelling your son as case of allergic rhinits.
