Child Has History Of Craeniosynyostosis, Operation Done, Is Achieving All Milestones. Will She Be Fine With Studies?

Hi m a mother of craeniosynyostosis.she s full term baby but has metopic n half cronal closed newaz v hv done surgery.her foc at birth was 33cms now its 40cms n she s 1.2years old n have surgery. at 3mths old.my question s now how much her foc be? N her body weight nheight. her doc said 2yr age u shud go for eye testing. Is it rite? Wut will be her brain I mean will she ok in her studies.some ppl say she will. weak in every asps t but up till now she s achieving All milestones .im from pakistan n need to hv paki banks for paying. Can t. pay by credit by current account

Thank you for your query,
The mean head circumference for a 1.2 years female is 47cm. Your child head circumference is low according to CDC growth charts but nothing to worry as all her developmenta milestones are normal according to your history.
After 2 years of age vision should be checked objectively by an expert according to well cilld visit program and below 2 years the testing is subjective by observing her sight by her paly, holding and reaching objects.
As the developing milestones seem appropriate for the age, we can expect her cognitive function should be good but be in regular follow up with your Pediatrician.
