hi my son is 34 months old and his reports suggest tht only mcv (56.4)and mch(22.2) and platelet (65) are low and everything other than tht r normal. then i am very unhappy what i ahve to do abt this matter any solution to increase MCV,MCH AHD PLATETE,,,PLZ can you give me true advice ,,,,,its his life danger in future thanks you vin
I have gone through the details .Your son's reports reveal low platelet count , Low Mean corpuscular value and low mean corpuscular hemoconcentraion. You have to immediately meet pediatrician and get done total WBS count, reticulocyte count and serum iron studies to know the cause of low levels. Also any recent hemorrhagic fever couses also to be ruled out.I would suggest to meet pediatrician /hematologist as early as possible.Watch for any bleeding tendency.Treatment is based on further evaluation and examination
