Child Has Lump Under Armpit. Ultrasound Done. Potential Lymphoma?

My baby is 10 months old. We noticed a small lump under her left armpit, which seems to have developed over the period of no more than 3 days, as we give her a bath every three days. We ve had the ultrasound done today, and they confirmed that it was neither a cyst nor a lymph node. Should we be worrying for a potential lymphoma? If not, what could it be?

Hello
Thanks for the query
As ultrasound is not suggestive of cyst or lymph node there is no chance of lymphoma, because lymphoma is actually a condition in which lymph nodes are mainly involved. You should go for repeat ultrasound because most common cause of lump in armpit is lymph node enlargement then cyst or abscess, may be nerve swelling( very uncommon) or bony swelling( also very uncommon).
So I would suggest you for repeat ultrasound, because if there is really any swelling then USG must detect this.
I hope this answers your query well
Wish you and your family good health
