I m mother of 9 month old twin boys, they both are having motion since almost 3 weeks, mucus and blood is also a part of these watery motion 15-20 a day in first 2 weeks, i have tried 5 dr and one of them is homeopathic also. but they are not stabling, since 3 days their motion turns to little bit change towards betterness but still they are pasing 5-6 motions daily. i have noticed that when they take formula milk they pass motion, i have also changed their milk (milk designed for diarrhea affected baby)
Hello and thanks for the query.
Since there is blood and mucus in the stool, there is a possibility of infection. This may need some antibiotic.
Kindly take the babies to a good hospital, rather than private doctors. A stool evaluation needs to be done and your babies will be examined completely for weight, growth, and other problems before getting appropriate treatment.
Also ensure proper sterilization of bottle and nipple and use separate sets for each baby to prevent further transfer of infections from one baby to another.
Hope you are reassured. Take care.
Bye
