Child Has Petechiae On Lower Legs, Fever, Projectile Commuting. Any Ideas?

My 6 month old baby keeps getting petechiae on her lower legs, tonight she is projectile commuting and has a temp! She has just come up with only 4-5 small petechiael spots on her left leg. The other times she has got them she has not been sick! The first time they came up she had bloods taken and it was all normal. Any ideas?

hi there, your history seems alarming and any child with fever, projectile vommiting and petechia on the body needs to be seen on an emergency basis as it could be due to meningitis. Please take her to the ER or to the pediatrician and let him rule out any other cause of these symptoms. Take care.
