Dear Nkay, hello
At this age, a child tries to bring different objects holding in dirty hands, into the mouth resulting in infection of the gastrointestinal tract with different organisms like bacteria, protozoa and parasites.
It is advisable that have a stool examination done.
Also take care of the eating habits of the child. Look whether her hands are clean and she shouldnot play in dirty area.
Always give her pure filtered water as this may prevent many infections of childhood.
Thanks.
