Child Have Fever, Clean Cough And Vomiting. Prescribed Augmentin, Calpol. Vomiting After Augmentin. Suggest?

hi sir my child is 2 year old from from four days at afternoon and night time he having fever, and also he have cough but cough is clean and when he cough he start Vomiting, today i show him to the doctor and doctor gave him these medicine
1. Augmentin DS "Co-amoxiclav"
2. YES 2 ZINC "Dry Suspension"
3. Calpol "Paracetamol"
but when ever i gave him Augmentin he vomit everything, today i gave him twice the Augmentin and twice he vomit, because the smell is not too much good so he can't take, so sir there is any other medicine to replace the Augmentin

Hi,

Augmentin is an antibiotic and the usually bitter in spite addition of flavors.

Try to give the syrup in sips by using a spoon.

Give one sip, wait for some time and give another sip and complete the dose.

If the child gags, wait for 1 minute and try giving.

There are other medications, but they also usually bitter in spite of mixing with flavors.
