Child Have Fever, Headache And Tiredness
5 year old son, fever 102.7, stomach ache in middle of belly, no nausea, some headache, tired, had a normal bm this morning. Was fine and active 6 hours ago (jumping on tramp), complaints about tummy 4 hours ago, hungry and ate food food 3 hours ago, currently taking nap (which he normally does not need).

Fever of few hours without any localizing signs could as well a viral illness. Usually rather than fever, what is more important is the activity of the child, in between 2 fever episodes on the same day. If he is active and playing around when there is no fever, it is probably and it doesn't require antibiotics at all. Once viral fever comes it will there for 4-7 days. So do not worry about duration if the kid is active.
You can treat fever with Paracetamol at 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly if fever is > 100F.
