Child Have Rashes On The Body. Have Been Applying Amolin Cream But Now Of Much Use. What To Do To Get Rid Of This Problem?

Hi my name is Maria and my 1and a half year old baby is having some sort of rashes on his body...he seems to be scratching every now and then and even when his sleeping it looks like heat rashes but I've been applying amolin cream which only works temporarily I have changed beddings and his clothing every now and then but no change checked the bedding for bugs No...even boils his beddings, towels and clothes and sun it but at night his screaming to itch...????? what have I missed out I haven't taken him yet to a doctor thinking that I might do a thing or two first before I may do take him then...it's really serious it just comes out at night I've stopped using protex soap on him and started to bath him with a little bit of detol....what u reckon doc ALSO I think I'm beginning to have it...especially between my fingers...just itch at first and it feels so good to scratch it now it looks a bit red and turning to be rashes....

Hi,
It seems that you and your baby might be having Scabies as it is more predominant in between your fingers.
Consult your doctor and get examined physically so that he might have clear idea of lesion and site.
Afterwards he will prescribe anti scabies lotion and inform how and when it is to be used.
Go for application of this lotion to your other family members as well.
Meanwhile take anti-histamine like Cetrizine for itching.
Ok and take care.
