Child Having Diarrhea For Days. Eating And Drinking Normal. Having Sore Butt. Got Rid From Flu. Medical Cure?

My 2 year old has had very watery stringey mustard color diareahea for 4 days. No other symptoms he is eating and drinking. My other children all would get diarrhea when they were teething but I don't recall it lasting up to 4 days. My child did get over the flu over a week ago. Should I be concerned? The only complaining seems to be a soar butt(using ointment currently to soothe as he has to many small diarrhea diapers to put him in the shower every time. Advice appreciated.

Continue to apply ointment for soothing effect.
Most likely It looks to be viral diarrhea and more common at this age.
Take care for proper hydration.
Give more liquid diet.
Give him enough water and other liquids like buttermilk,ORS formula.
Lactic acid bacillus with zinc is advisable.
It it persists more than 7 days than go for investigations like cbc,stool to confirm the diagnosis.
Ask your doctor about rota virus vaccine.
Keep in touch with your pediatrician.
