Child Having Difficulty In Focusing, Speaking, Diagnosed With Hyperactivity, Prescribed Encanephabol Syrup. What Is Its Function?

Dear Dr. Kondekar, my nephew s pediatrician has prescribed ENCANEPHABOL SİROP, he is 4 years old and he has problems focusing, can not speak other than a couple of words. He was diagnosed with hyperactivity , this medicine is not imported to TUrkey any more. WHere can I get it and what exactly will that do to him? Many thanks in advance

Encephabol is a synthetic drug derived from vitamin B6 and is considered to be effective in senile dementia. It has been prescribed to your nephew to stimulate his nervous system. This medicine shall have to be imported by you in Turkey if it is not available for which you shall have to follow your government guidelines.

As your nephew is hyperactive with delayed speech he needs to be assessed and managed accordingly. This shall require a multi-disciplinary approach so that he gets the maximum benefit.
