Child Having Recurrent Fever, Vomitting, Diarrhoea Green In Colour, Headache, Coughing. Flu?
My 5 year old has had a fever of 104-104.6 starting on sunday, it has gone down, but than spiked up again. We have also had vomit the 2 day about 3 times. Took him in told us only a flu bug. Then day 3 we had diahrrea, fever spiked back up. He was a little good yesterday, but than fever back up there, and now we are throwing up, green and diahrrea dark green. He has not ate much, a little bit here and there since sunday. Drinking okay, but not that great. He is complaining of headache , and he is starting to cough and has a little weezing. Do i take him in? Or is it just a flu that has to run its course?

Fever, vomiting, loose stools and cough looks like a virus.
But its almost 4th day of illness I guess and you say he does not eat well.
So visit your Pediatrician again, have a detailed examination and get complete blood counts done that will help to decide if its bacterial and if antibiotics are needed.
In any viral illnesses, secondary bacterial infections are common and might need antibiotics.
Green stools if with mucus/ blood suggests bacterial cause.
So have a word with your doctor again and have the necessary investigations done.

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. The boy is aged 5 years old and having fever , vommitings, and motions . What ever the the fever may be the child can't bear the situation. There will be dehydration, starvation, and confusion. Of course if timely attended he will be fine in no time. in the mean while if he is not willing to take food, give him liquid food in small bouts, may be coconut water, porridge, sugar and salt water or even pure drinking water.
I advise you to consult a pediatrician for prompt advise and medical help. He may need to have infusion of fluids. Wishing him a fast recovery and thanks for calling.
