Child Having Stuffy Nose, Sneezing, Coughing, Prescribed BROVEX PEB LIQ. Is It Safe?

Hello I am the mother of a seven year old and she is has a stuffy nose and sneezing, and coughing just a little I wanted to know if I could give her a prescription she has called BROVEX PEB LIQ, the only thing is was prescribed to her 10/30/2012 is it to old to give to her?

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM.
You can safely give Bromex ped liquid 2.5 ml 3-4 times daily.
you may give steam inhalation 2-3 times daily to accelerate recovery.
You may add some antibiotic if there is persistent fever.
