Child Injured With Glass. Numb Finger, Difficulty Playing Guitar. How To Fix It?

my son got glass in his hand about 6 years ago and doesn't think the doctor got all the glass out. When he plays guitar, his finger goes numb and hinders his playing. Also, he said it feels like there's still a piece of glass in there. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? Is it too late to get the glass out if still in there?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

It is never too late to take out a foreign body from the body. Please get your child examined by your doctor. Further investigations may be required to identify if there is any foreign body.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
