Child Suffering From Daily Bed Wetting Problem. Does Augmintin DS Help In Curing It?
My daughter aged 10 years is suffering from daily bed wetting problem for the last few years. In Jan she suffered from throat infection and Augmintin DS oral suspension was prescribed for her. Afrer using this medicine for three days, she was cured of throat infection. Also after few days she did not do the bed wetting for four continuos days but started again. Did Augmintin DS help her in bed wetting problem for few days. If so can she be given Augmintin DS again and if it helps her again, how long can she take it for permanent cure.
Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
Augmentin could have helped, if there was an element of infection in the urine.
Bed wetting is usually a maturity related problem and it should settle with time , but the time cannot be predicted.
Meet a urologist or a neurologist, get examined , do scan and urine analysis, rule out problems like infection or stones.
If nothing is there, she needs specific treatment directed to the problem.
More than anything, alarm technique and reward techniques work better.
best regards
